She is a little bit obsessive in my opinion, but she even wants her eyeglasses to be festive! My generation grew up with walkmans and gameboys that parents would throw in the back seat to shut their kids up while driving. This has created a nation addicted to texting while driving, and all of them believe it’s perfectly acceptable, because they grew up with it (I was fortunate enough to be too poor for any of those things). Now we’ve got kids watching movies while they drive, and playing their PSP’s at the same time… How are kids going to learn to drive if they NEVER see their parents drive? I’m serious, A) good driving habits start early and B) ask any great race driver (Tanner Foust says it all the time, though his “greatness” might be in question, he’s also a rally car driver which is arguably the toughest form of racing because of the variance in locations and weather conditions) they will say that their passion for driving started as a toddler in the back seat of their moms mini-van (or whatever you drive).

This comes from the fact that Connor has been asking lately to watch Veggie Tales every time we get in the car to take mommy to work… Rose and I were seriously considering getting him a DVD player so he could watch ‘em to keep entertained… when I thought about it I thought back to an interview with Tanner Foust where a mom was asking how early should she get her child into racing and he said that it starts as a toddler in the back seat watching your parents drive. Then I thought about that big grin I see in the rear view mirror when I hit the round abouts by Zona Rosa at 45mph, tires squalling, and the giggle that comes when we straighten the car out.

Anyways, they’ve got their old AMD quad core servers for $80 a month right now… I’m really tempted to upgrade my server… If I knew for sure that Google was getting that gigabit fiber line here by 2013 I wouldn’t bother… I’d just use my quad core server here. With 23 sites all running heavy DB accesses my server is starting to slow down… With a little more RAM I could get some of my busier sites to run their sessions off of the RAM and ease up on the HDD’s. Of course when Google gets here my server here has 8 GB of RAM and a 16 GB flash drive for SWAP space and it’s running 4 hdd’s in RAID 5… so… there is really no comparison once I get set up at my house there won’t be an issue. Still need a GOOD UPS before I move to the house though.

I’ve got my first article up detailing the savings you can have if you cut out to eat dining out of your daily ritual… especially fast food. In the coming weeks I’ve got the plans to put out some recipe’s for Guacomole, Chicken Noodle Soup, and some Chicken Tacos! Feeling pretty good about a lot of things. I think I can keep up with weekly posts on here and still get my stuff for TheBibleAnimated done… which I’m actually doing quite well on, I’m at the point where I need to get some thoughts organized though, and that is what today is dedicated to.

So the question is does this place fair better, or rather does my vacuum cleaner reviews sites fair better when I write about vacuum cleaner reviews, or reviews in general? Or should I just stick on my random life updates topic and leave it at that? Does mingling random life updates and vacuum cleaners reviews screw with my ratings, or is it helpful, or does it do nothing? Eh, only time shall tell right? Generally speaking, whether you are talking about vacuum cleaners or random life updates the main thing that matters is the amount of work that you put into it. So after a 30 day blogging challenge where I reviewed hundreds of items, and did a lot of work getting the templates for my random life updates blog here ready for a long haul run… then never went the long haul… well it only makes sense to pop in occasionally with some random life updates news from time to time ya know? But that’s not really what today is about, for the most part today is about my vacuum cleaner comparison site that does decently well, but not as well as last year… so the goal is to regain the supremacy that I had on the vacuum cleaner rankings stuff again. So how does one do that? Well that is the question of the hour is it not? In general being so lack luster and spreading the same message over a wide birth of topics is not a great thing… but I am hoping that I can make this vacuum cleaner reviews topic long enough to make up for the indiscretions that may present themselves at times. I think that what I am missing may be much worse than just a few vacuum cleaner reviews, but rather a vacuum cleaner content lack… so we shall see. Onward and upward though, that is the random life updates way right? Or is that just the best vacuum cleaner ratings talking to me?
