I wouldn't be taking any sharpened swords into class. Bring in some of my practice swords, all real specifications minus the sharp edge. And I don't think there would be any problem with a suit of armor here and there... but then again with how strict some things have become that may even be a fight.

Hey , Cody -- too many teachers don't make history hands on because the principal/school district won't let them. Thirty teens and a sword sounds like a recipe for disaster -- however, that doesn't mean one can't make it work. It just means you have to put some thought into how you are going to present it to the powers that be. (From personal experience I can tell you that it helps a lot to invite them to participate.)

The teaching ranks need more people who can "make it real".

Hi Cody,

Thanks for the advice. I am not aiming to make money from this site but I get your drift - I need to develop my links and networks and keep content relevant and narrow. This matches what I learnt from an internet marketing short course recently.
Thanks again,
JT

Hello JT,
haha yeah there's plenty of comments on my blog, just gotta look at the right posts :-P I'll admit my blog isn't terribly popular with the kind of people that leave comments, but that's because it's a personal blog. Anyways, for your question on google search stuff... well that's a very complicated matter. I've written on the subject many times, and will give you a few quick tips on the subject from two of my blogs.

http://www.codysortore.com/blog/2008/08/27/making-money-online/
http://www.codysortore.com/blog/2008/08/30/making-money-online-part-2/
http://www.easysimplesidemoney.com/2008/10/07/content-domination/
http://www.easysimplesidemoney.com/2008/10/05/the-balancing-act-of-internet-marketing/

Then in one of those posts I mention a service called "PayPerPost" it's a great service that I use... both for blogging (making money) and for advertising. I would suggest getting on their and signing up as an advertiser and spending around $200 in getting good quality links to your site... I'd pay $10 per link, asking for PR3 sites and above, and get 2-3 different keywords for them to link to me with (divided between 20 links of course, and it will cost you a small service charge, currently $10 service charge, and they pay bloggers half of what you pay per post so paying $10 like I suggested would get the bloggers $5 each so be nice :-P)

Thank you for pointing that out. I do agree, maybe it's a little bit naive of me but I still think that we're mostly capitalistic society... mostly. Even with a lot of crap going on I don't think we'll push over the majority line yet of socialism. We may yet though, so who knows. And some who have a better idea of what really goes on in Washington may yet say that we are already there. I would say that the Fed is a socialistic system as well since it manipulates and plans our economy.

Hopefully we don't get sucked down completely... but since we lost this election (and it was inevitable with either Obama or McCain that America would lose the election) things could look very bad in the coming years...

Another great solution for handling international shipments is Bongo International BongoUS.com

I've been using them for over a year now and they consolidate my US purchases for free and ship them right to my door, saving me a lot of money.

They have a lot of international shipping info on their website, and a live chat option for any questions. BongoUS also offers a pay-per-use option while other mail forwarding companies require you to pay a subscription fee

Thank you Dr. know it all. I have studied hypnosis and do know what it is. Often times you can use meditation to obtain a state of hypnosis, but you are comparing apples and oranges with your statement.

Meditation is an act, something that you willfully and knowledgeably do. Hypnosis is a physical state of your body and mind.

I know Wikipedia is flawed just like any encyclopedia but it has some pretty good information on hypnosis... although it barely goes past the uses of hypnosis I've read a lot of books on it that go into stating how hypnosis is a state of sleep. Most of the ideas are still "theories" though because not everyone goes into hypnosis every night and some scientists/doctors dismiss the claims of hypnosis saying that it is simply a heightened state of placebo and there is no way to prove otherwise. So to state for a fact that it is a state of sleep isn't 100% correct, I first and most often experienced hypnosis at night while going to bed (as many people do). So you take it how you want in that respect. I know what hypnosis is, and even though I didn't give a detailed description of how I used hypnosis when I was younger in school, I still know the difference between meditation and hypnosis.

I bought the organizer Buxton Bag late August and I use it everyday and as everyone has found out it is crap, falling apart, things falling out, nearly lost my only contact (my cell phone) can't find a thing easily, does not sit properly on the body, I am gentle and easy on things, also the leather upgrade has places where the die never set, etc etc. worst purchase of my life.
