Babel is actually alot older then the version in the bible. i have thought that for years now that babel the city was atlantis.
"Come let us make bricks
and burn them hard
We'll build a city
with a tower for the world
and climb so we can reach
anything at all
Build me up, Tear me down
like a
Build me up, then tear down
These joining Walls
So they can't climb at all
I know why you tore it down that day
You throught, if you got caught
we'd all go away
Like a spoiled little baby
who can't come out to play
You had your revenge
Build me up, tears me down
like a
Build me up, then tear down
these joining walls
So they can't climb at all "
Bad religion 1993

That sums it up for me and why i have thought that

I just saw the informercial. Hully cow! That's the crappiest looking bag I've ever seen, the leather looks so crap even in front of the camera. I've seen better designed bags at the local store. What amazes me, is that it's just a bag and they're making it out to be some kind of wonder thing. Why would you want to buy a bag off the tv anyways?

the buxton organizer bag is the worst bag you can purchase. I had mine for 3 months and both of the main zippers broke. Also it is not good to store things in. It will not close good and things are always falling out. This is one of the worst purchases that I have ever made.

I'm glad I was able to help, even if I wasn't able to contribute anything significant in terms of a donation. But if 500 people could contribute just a bit, the total amount given to Holly would be amazing. Good luck!

Psst... have you considered Twitter as another way to spread the word?

In a situation like this, you will certainly need to avail services that long distance moving company offers all the time.
I haven't been able to stop laughing about your comment since I first read it. You make me smile, and I wouldn't have a job if it weren't for people like yourself. So keep up the good work, it's nice to know that there are still people out there who refuse to see life for what it is.

As far as the "we" goes, I was refering to those who claim to be followers of Christ.

haha, oh this is the part that just cracks me up the most. If it makes me sexist to desire that both men and women live as they were designed to, having a man who searches out the heart of the woman he loves on a daily basis, and a woman who can rest in his strength... if that makes me sexist, then by all means call me sexist all you so desire. I actually read a comment from a young lady a few days ago that said so perfectly what feminism is about.

You know, the funny thing about feminism is that it destroys all things inherently female.

I couldn't say it better if I had to. The feminism movement has done everything possible to increase greed within the United States, decrease family values, decrease female beauty, and destroy all systems of passing on masculine traits to our young men. You may not care about how guys are raised, but I'm sure you enjoy bitching about where all the "good guys" have gone.

Redneck? I guess I could see how someone ignorant of the Theatre subculture could see some of our traditions as "redneckish" especially when you see the strong family bonds, and businesses or traits passed down through generations... There are several similarities in those respects to theatre geeks, and rednecks that you might see at first glance.

lulzorz!!! I love how you just called me a redneck like it's a bad thing and then said "equal rights don't" just an FYI replace the "don't" with "doesn't" and you won't sound like a hick any longer. Never the less I can see where you're coming from in respects to being confused about why I would chose to say minority. I don't really believe that those ruining our country with the structure of our education system, attempting to take God completely out of schools and government are actually the minority. They wouldn't be able to do so if they were... But they are also not exactly the majority. It just so happens that they're the ones being the loudest about the issues. Take for example the gay marriage issue. Gays in America are by far not the majority, but are able to overpower courts and state laws because they're the ones yelling the loudest about the issue. Granted they have the most reason to care. It's the same on issues that actually matter such as taking prayer, and the existance of God out of schools. The number of people who claim to be Christians, is far greater than the number of people who care to stand up and actually work to keep moral values in tact.

Jesus preached tolerance? Both yes and no depending upon which definition of tolerance you're using. "I am The Way, The Life, and The Truth. No one comes to the Father except through me." Sounds like a no tolerance policy to me... I mean, I could be wrong maybe Jesus was just a smart guy who managed to fool a few idiots into thinking he was the Son of God. Maybe things are as you believe and anyone who tries to do more good than bad goes to heaven, maybe all religions lead to the same place as you say. I don't think that's what Jesus teaches, nor do I think that's what is correct, but I'm merely a man. If you're talking about the idea of tolerance as in endurance, then yes, that is what Jesus preached. More so through his actions than what he said, though he did on occasion mention how we need to endure this life until we get to Heaven. Paul was more about preaching on that subject matter, but I will have to say that I agree that Paul's words paralelled the way that Jesus lived. If you're talking the deviation from the standard then most definitely Jesus taught that! He called the religious leaders of His time "sons of satan" for the way they adhered to what they considered Biblical standards. On two different occasions He made whips and drove merchants from the temple for making it a "den of thieves" or robbers depending upon which translation you seek. He was very tolerant on the idea of deviating from the rules and regulations of Judaism to what really mattered, and I'd say he even encouraged it. From what I've seen of Jesus preachings I think you're wrong in the idea of allowing athiests, and the like to destroy moral values in our country. I don't think we should allow those who claim Christianity to do so either, as I don't think Jesus would.

You know, I always wondered what He wrote in the sand that day... do you think that's what it was? You think Jesus just started writing the word "Marshmallow" and everybody there just dropped their stones and walked away? Would you of walked away? Or would you have unloaded? There was a preacher at the church I go to that used to wonder what it was Jesus wrote in the sand that day... one of his speculations was that He began writing out all of their sins one by one. The Bible doesn't say, even though I really wish it did at times just because I'm an inquisitive fellow. Point being... since from your reaction you obviously don't know how to read into something, and are too lazy to look up who I am... is that you should remove the log from your own eye before attempting to assist your brother in extracting the speck from theirs. The story I was refering to if you've not figured it out yet is where some Jewish men bring a woman to Jesus who was unclean to be stoned to death, as was the law. Jesus says nothing, just kneals down and begins to write in the sand. One by one they all drop their stones and walk away. I say this because neither I nor you know the heart of Bush, or Robertson... so how can you say they're going to hell? Who's bein intollerant now?

If you’re talking about the idea of tolerance as in endurance, then yes, that is what Jesus preached. More so through his actions than what he said, though he did on occasion mention how we need to endure this life until we get to Heaven. Paul was more about preaching on that subject matter, but I will have to say that I agree that Paul’s words paralelled the way that Jesus lived. If you’re talking the deviation from the standard then most definitely Jesus taught that! He called the religious leaders of His time “sons of satan” for the way they adhered to what they considered Biblical standards. On two different occasions He made whips and drove merchants from the temple for making it a “den of thieves” or robbers depending upon which translation you seek. He was very tolerant on the idea of deviating from the rules and regulations of Judaism to what really mattered, and I’d say he even encouraged it. From what I’ve seen of Jesus preachings I think you’re wrong in the idea of allowing athiests, and the like to destroy moral values in our country. I don’t think we should allow those who claim Christianity to do so either, as I don’t think Jesus would.

You know, I always wondered what He wrote in the sand that day… do you think that’s what it was? You think Jesus just started writing the word “Marshmallow” and everybody there just dropped their stones and walked away? Would you of walked away? Or would you have unloaded? There was a preacher at the church I go to that used to wonder what it was Jesus wrote in the sand that day… one of his speculations was that He began writing out all of their sins one by one. The Bible doesn’t say, even though I really wish it did at times just because I’m an inquisitive fellow. Point being… since from your reaction you obviously don’t know how to read into something, and are too lazy to look up who I am… is that you should remove the log from your own eye before attempting to assist your brother in extracting the speck from theirs. The story I was refering to if you’ve not figured it out yet is where some Jewish men bring a woman to Jesus who was unclean to be stoned to death, as was the law. Jesus says nothing, just kneals down and begins to write in the sand. One by one they all drop their stones and walk away. I say this because neither I nor you know the heart of Bush, or Robertson… so how can you say they’re going to hell? Who’s bein intollerant now?

It's about getting ready for a ride I went on... maybe you should read a little before commenting. The cat picture is there because it wants to be! I got the post from my head, because that's what I do, the cat picture comes from 420chan.com I do freelance website work for a few people, some of which get attacked frequently by anon so I've gotta watch what anon is up to from time to time. They're all big into caturday, and the lolcats so occasionally I nab 'em when they have good ones. Other than that most of my lolcats come from icanhazcheezburger.com one of the greatest sites ever, also based upon the wordpress blogging platform like my site!

Maybe its time to stick with something that will make you money so you have what you need to fulfill your dreams. God doesn't just take care of you when you don't have a job and are doing your own thing. He takes care of you when you're working too. And He can still give you ways to make your dreams come true. Remember, He wants to give us the desires of our hearts. He knows them better than we do, better than we know ourselves. Don't give up on this job that you enjoy. He'll show you a way to do both.
