You know, I do a little bit of web design myself. I created the template on here, and the one on ArchmailleDesigns.com and have done my fair share of programing as well. But one thing I’ve learned from working at Viacom is that I’m an ideas man, and really don’t do very well in the web design aspect of things. It was actually my boss who pointed that out to me, as he has started to let me take charge with both managing site builds, and in creating my own site ideas that I would then lead the development, launch, and maintenance of the site for! It was in this that I realized that I’m not very good at the actual development of sites myself. I get distracted and derailed too easily.

That’s why it’s best for me to have a web design service in order to build the sites. Oh I come up with a lot of REALLY good ideas, I just can’t quite launch them on my own. I need the help of other web designers that have a little more experience, and knowledge of the design service field to help me out. That’s why it’s such a good position that I’ve been put in with Viacom because when I lead a team I get to hand pick my web design service, my maintenance team, my marketing team, etc. With what seems like unlimited funds compared to what I’m used to trying to do things with my own websites.
